‘Bedlam’ – Spectators urged to stay away from start of Knockalla stage

RALLY FANS have been advised to avoid the start of the Knockalla stage, SS 11 and SS 13, of the 2019 Joule Donegal International Rally. due to the high volume of spectators already there.

Knockalla, one of the classic Donegal stages, has always drawn large crowds and this morning’s attendance is already huge.

One stage, SS7 at Gartan, has already been cancelled and organisers have warned spectators to obey marshals.

“It’s absolutely bedlam,” a rally spokesman said.

“We would ask people to access alternative areas of the Knockalla stage.”
