Job Vacancy: Leading bar requires assistant manager

A leading Letterkenny pub requires an assistant manager for an immediate start.

The Glencar Inn Bar and Off-License is a well-established business within a business part of the local community.

The successful candidate will:

* Have at least two years experience in manager/supervisor roll

* The candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and creative at bringing new ideas to generate business

* Will be an all-round customer service skills and industry knowledge

* Be familiar with cash handling procedures

* Be able to maximise sales by identifying and targeting sales opportunities

* Have a full, clean driving license

* Be educated in the licensing laws

The position involves:

* Being responsible for the everyday running of the bar in absence of the manager

* Being responsible in leading a team to high standards of service
responsible for opening/closing procedures and cash handling procedures

* Training of staff

* Having an ability to lead and motivate a team of staff

* Assisting the manager in the smooth operation of the premises
