Gardaí in Letterkenny are appealing for witnesses in relation to a theft from a shop in Ballybofey.
The theft took place on the Trusk Road, Ballybofey on Monday last (July 22) at 5.20pm.
Two males entered the shop and one of the males stole a quantity of alcohol and left the shop without paying for same.
He was apprehended on Navenny Street by a member of the public and the stolen items were retrieved from him.
He then fled in the direction of the Main Street.
The male in question is described as being tall, stocky, with dark hair tightly cut, possibly in his late 20’s/early 30’s, wearing black bose headphones, a green long-sleeved sweatshirt and black trainers with a white sole.
