DONEGAL WOMEN’S League teams had a successful and enjoyable Saturday at the FAI Fingal Festival of Football for Girls at the AUL Complex yesterday.
The Donegal Women’s League players joined teams from Dublin and Kildare for what was the 16th edition of the event.
Over 500 players took part in the tournament.
Donegal sides won seven out of the eight sections having made the journey from the north west at 5.45am. The sleep wasn’t long being rubbed from the eyes as they went straight into action in the capital.
A total of 86 players from Donegal made the trip.
