One of the last weeks of summer will be ending on a high as temperatures rise over the next few days.
It’s good news if you are planning to attend some of the many events in Donegal this weekend.
Whether it’s A Taste of Donegal Food Festival, the Letterkenny Folk Festival or the many Heritage Week events in towns across Donegal, people can look forward to highs of 20-24C, some sunshine and just some patches of rain (don’t forget the umbrella).
The warm weather will rise to highs of 24C this Friday 23rd August, with sunshine expected in areas.
Today will be dry, according to Met Eireann, with moderate winds. It will feel cooler tonight as temperates fall to between 11-13C.
Saturday will be cloudier with patchy rain in the west of Ireland, according to forecasters. Expect warm conditions again, with highs of 20-24 during the day.
Sunday is due to be one of the best days of the week, as dry weather and sunny spells are forecast. Temperates will range between 18-22C.
The outlook for next week is warm again on Monday, with a mix of rain and clouds returning by Tuesday.
