Donegal County Council and the EPA have lifted a ‘No Swim’ ban at Bundoran beach.
The public were warned yesterday not to swim in the waters at Bundoran beach due to health risks.
The risk was related to elevated levels of E.coli in the water, caused by suspected stormwater overflow due to localised heavy rainfall.
The ‘No Swim’ warning was initially issued by Donegal County Council for three days.
However, following test on the waters on Thursday night, it has now been deemed safe.
