The competition last weekend was a Teams of 4 Open Scramble which was sponsored by the Buncrana Credit Union.

There were some great scores returned over the two days and it took a break of a tie to separate the winners.

In first place was the formidable team Benny Murphy (7), John Doherty (7), Barry Dillon (14) and Sean T. Murphy (15) with 54 pts.

This team played some remarkable golf and their score included 12 birdies with 4 of theses birdies coming over the last 4 holes.

In second place were Oliver Doherty (4), Sean Cronin (12), Joe Mc Cauley (14) & Billy Mc Daid (19) also with 54 pts. This team was missing their regular partner Mickey Mc Cann and his putting prowess could have taken them over the line in first place if he had of been available.
