You’ll ‘knot’ believe it, but the Mock Wedding of the year is just a few weeks away!

The unique fundraiser is taking place on 21st September in aid of the Smile for Jasmine fund in memory of Jasmine McMonagle, a 27-year-old mother of two who was tragically killed at her home in January 2019.

The Mock Wedding has already had a proposal and hen party, and next on the cards is the Stag party which will be on the  7th of September in Kirks Bar, Clady.

The ‘bride’ is Ann-Marie Mcnulty from Donnyloop and the ‘Groom’ a Castlefin man, Brendan McGlinchey who have been terrific sports and have already created a buzz around the town with more craic surely to come.

The mock Hen Party took place in August

The ‘Mock’ wedding ceremony and reception will be held on September 21st in the Banjo Tavern, Castlefin, a first of its kind for the town.

Most of the invitations have been delivered and organisers are eagerly awaiting RSVP.

The Committee are thick in the middle of preparations for the event which could never have taken place but for the very generous sponsorship of businesses far and wide.

To allow the event to take place, they have had an enormous amount of support from:

Marquee: Partytown, Marquee Hire Omagh

Reception: The Banjo Tavern, Annies Kitchen, Mullaghmore Bakery, Gortrush Foods, John Dalton, John Gallagher, Kingsbury Packaging, Eatwell’s Bakery, Grove Dairy, McGlynns Restaurant.

Bridal Party: Kirks Bar, Vogue Limos, 1916 Clady /Glebe Society, Katie Doherty Nails.

Groomsmen: Castlefin Cabs

Photography: Peter McGlynn

Music: The Logues, Chrissy Mac & The Two Amigos & Much Ado Stage School.

Master of Ceremony:  J.D. & Chrissy Mac..

Main Sponsors: Anthony Conaghan Cars, Gary Doherty, Bar One Racing, Tennents.

The committee are also very grateful for the numerous personal donations and vouchers which they have raffled throughout the run up to the wedding.

Attendance is limited to invite only for the main event, but the party will continue throughout the evening beginning with the Logues at 7pm for the brilliant after-party where we will dance the night away.

Tickets are available from the Banjo Tavern @ €10 per ticket and are already in huge demand so it’s first come, first served.
