Listen: ‘As sweet as any’, says Setanta boss Paul Campbell

SETANTA MANAGER Paul Campbell hailed a ‘sweet’ win as Setanta got their hands back on the Munster Cup again.

Mark Devine netted twice and Declan Coulter bagged the other goal as Setanta overcame St Eunan’s in today’s Donegal SHC final 3-13 to 0-13.

The beaten finalists last year, Setanta endured a long winter of pining before hitting back in style to win the Donegal League and Championship double.

“Absolutely fantastic,” Campbell beamed to Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub after today’s win.

“We spent a long year in the Cross without that Cup. We think every year that the Cup should be in the Cross, but we have it back for another year now.

“We put in a serious shift from January to make sure we’d get it back.

“This is as sweet as any win we ever had.”
