Residents in Killea and surrounding areas have been asked to remain vigilant this morning (Sun) following several break-ins in the area.

It is understood one of the burglaries happened when a Killea resident attended mass on Sunday.

It has since been reported that two similar incidents have also occurred in the area.

No further details have been given at this time.

The spate of reported burglaries come following a string of incidents in the Raphoe, Carrigans and Letterkenny areas where impersonators, pretending to be from An Post, tried duping elderly people out of their money.

We will bring you more as we get it…
