AFTER A battle that went right to the wire, Evelyn McGinley reflected on ‘a pretty sweet victory’ as Termon qualified for the Ulster final.

McGinley turned in a powerful shift as Termon inched past St Macartans at The Burn Road.

Just back in football after a break, McGinley won an Ulster title with Donegal this year and is now looking forward to her first Ulster club decider.

“It’s the happiest I’ve been,” the Creeslough woman told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“It was a pretty sweet victory, but we made hard work of it ourselves.

“It’s great to get the win in the end. We kept our shape and we kept going. We fought hard and we never gave up. We were very disciplined.”
