Two men seriously injured following attack outside pub

Two men sustained serious injuries after they were attacked by two other men outside a pub in Letterkenny.

The attack happened at the back of the Glencar Inn in the early hours of Sunday morning last at around 2.20am.

Another woman who tried to intervene was also attacked.

Gardai have said they are following a definite line of enquiry following the attack.

Management at the bar have stressed that the incident was not connected with the bar or its patrons.

Gardai have appealed to anybody who may have seen the attack to contact them at Letterkenny Garda station on 074 9167100.
