JOSHUA Smith’s first Finn Harps goal secured a first win in eight games last night.

Smith’s sixth-minute header saw Ollie Horgan’s side overcome Waterford United and claim their first three points since early August.

Harps held on for a clean sheet on a night when their place in the promotion-relegation play-off was secured.
