The North West 10k committee is now making a final call for expressions of interest from charities who would like to be beneficiaries from the 24th Run & Walk which will take place on Sunday the 3rd of May next year.

The closing date for entries is this Friday, November 1st. North West 10k Chairperson Neil Martin says there is still time to get expressions of interest into to Ann Condon, at Grand Central, Complex, Canal Road, Letterkenny or email anne@letterkennychamber.com.

The North West 10k had been a hugely successful fundraiser over the past 23 years. This is an ideal opportunity for charities to get involved in an event that has raised 827,903 euros for 34 different organisations since 1997.

Mr Martin said:  “This is our final call for charities to put in expressions of interest. There’s a lot of hard work involved but the rewards are well worth it.  We had three charities who shared 51,000 euros. That’s 9,000 euros each. So there is still time for charities to get their applications in to us by this Friday, November 1st.”
