It’s definitely time to think about winter fashion and the party season, and one upcoming event will have it all wrapped up! Stella McGroarty of Stella Boutique in Donegal Town is hosting her Charity Gala Fashion Show in Harvey’s Point on Sunday 10th November. It promises to be an entertaining afternoon of sustainable style, special moments and fabulous food.
All guests will be treated to a delicious Harvey’s afternoon tea and prosecco on arrival. Then it will be time to relax and enjoy seeing the fabulous looks for every winter occasion that are in store at Stella Boutique. Stella has become a local leader in sustainable fashion and this is the perfect chance to come and see how eco-friendly style can look so great. With MC Noel Cunningham and expert styling tips from Stella, it’s sure to be an entertaining show. Proceeds from the event are in aid of Cancer Care West. There will also be raffle prizes, proceeds of which will go to Deirdre Dillon’s fund for Breast Cancer Awareness. Deirdre is a local breast cancer survivor who amazingly completed the Dublin City Marathon last week. She will be one of the guest models on the day.

Looking ahead to the event, Stella tells Donegal Woman: “I’m really looking forward to this event as it gives me an opportunity to show that it is more than possible to dress in a stylish, sustainable fashion. “Whether you’re already a conscious fashion shopper or otherwise, I welcome the opportunity to steer you towards the world of slow fashion. “Most of our fabrics are manufactured using Organic Cotton which contains no toxic pesticides, herbicides or genetically modified seeds. This results in a much lower impact on the environment and a high skin tolerability.”
