Did you lose your purse on a Bus Eireann journey?

Gardaí said: “Thank you all for sharing. It will be a Happy Christmas for the owner thanks to the good will of the finder and to all who shared the post! “


Did you lose your purse on a Bus Eireann trip on Tuesday last, November 26th?

A purse was found on the Derry to Sligo bus on that date and is now at Letterkenny Garda Station.

There is some identification (N. Ireland) in the purse with a name with the initials N.J.

“The purse has a considerable amount of money in it and we would love to return it to its owner before Christmas,” said a Garda spokesman.

The incident no. is 17116215 and you can quote this number when making an enquiry in relation to it on 074-9167100. (Letterkenny Garda Station)

The Garda spokesperson added “We also wish to thank the person who handed in the purse for their honesty.”
