EAMON McConigley, the Letterkenny Rovers manager, wasn’t too downbeat with his side’s scoreless draw at home to USL champions Cockhill Celtic yesterday.

Despite having the better of the play and the chances, Rovers were unable to break the deadlock against Cockhill and had to settle with a share of the spoils.

“They’re happy to get a draw and we’re not unhappy but, with the way we played, we should have had a win,” McConigley told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“We didn’t get a couple of decisions, but we just have to get up and get on with it.”

Rovers saw Kevin McGrath have a ‘goal’ chalked off in the second half for an offside infringement.

“We felt that it was a genuine goal,” McConigley observed.
