The family of a much-loved little dog called Alfie are offering a €1,000 reward to get their pet home safely before Christmas.

Alfie went missing on 10th September 2019 on Port Arthur beach in Gweedore.

In the last three months, his owners have searched far and wide to find him. Alfie’s owners live between Gweedore and Scotland and have been heartbroken since he went missing. But they remain determined to never give up.

Missing Dog Alfie

The appeal said: “Alfie has a really distinctive black spot on his back and reacts well to “bubbles” someone out there knows where he is.

“Has your neighbour or work colleague recently got a new dog which fits Alfie’s description?

“Please let us know, there is €1000 reward for any information which leads to the safe return of Alfie.

“He is such a big part of our families lives and is sorely missed, things just aren’t the same without him! Every share is one step closer to us bringing Alfie home. We will never give up.”

If you have any information that may help in any way, please contact the ‘Alfie wants to come home’ Facebook page.
