Repairs to a burst water main in Bridgend will not be complete until Wednesday afternoon, Irish Water has confirmed.

A burst was reported today in Bonemaine, leaving homes and businesses without water supply.

Irish Water crews are working on the issue and an alternative water supply is being provided between the Bridge End Industrial Estate and the old 19th Hole Public House from 3pm Tuesday until 2pm on Wednesday.

It is expected that repairs will be completed by 2pm on Wednesday, and supplies may take 2-3 hours to fully returned.
