Over 1,500 ESB customers in Carndonagh, Clonmany, Malin and the surrounding areas of Donegal have been affected by an electricity outage due to a major fault.

The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) currently have crews on their way to fix the issue, with the interruption expected to be solved by 2:30 pm today.

ESB said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
