TY students in Magh Ene College proudly produce a short documentary

Magh Ene College, Bundoran, released a short documentary this week after a two-hour workshop turned into a two-day unscripted documentary about their school.

 Last December the school invited the team from Wild Rice Films to do a media studies workshop with the Transition Year students.

The documentary is about a former student from Magh Ene College returning to the school a decade after her Leaving Cert to see what life is like at the school now.

Wild Rice sat down with the Principal Mr. Tighe and the pupils to have an honest conversation about what really makes students happy in their education.

There is a great positive energy throughout the whole documentary.

School Principal, Mr. Tighe says there is no better people to ask what a College is like other than the students, and that’s exactly what they did in this short documentary.

“If we have happy students, they will work better and the learning will follow, he said.”
