One of Donegal’s much-loved beaches is to get an overhaul with a new playground, trading area and outdoor showers.

Rossnowlagh Beach has been a favourite for thousands of beach-walkers, swimmers and surfers for many years.

Now Donegal County Council is planning to upgrade facilities at the popular holiday destination.

The proposed upgrade of beachside facilities will also include sheltered area for picnic benches.

The proposals are currently with Donegal County Council and plans can be viewed by members of the public online or at the council offices.
