Nemo swimmers make a splash at Ulster Gala

NEMO Special Olympics Swimming Club had a superb day on Saturday at Special Olympics Ulster Advancement Gala 2020.

Nemo SOSC swimmers bagged 13 medals from their trip to the Omagh Leisure Centre. 

The amazing Nemo tally included seven Gold medals.

Nemo’s small team of swimmers train under Head Coach Sinead Donagher at Finn Valley Leisure Centre.

The Nemo medallists were: 

Cormac taking a 1st in 25m back & 2nd in 25m free

Joe taking a 2nd place in 25m free

Ultan 1st in both his races, 25m back & free

Eimear 3rd in both her races

Eoin 1st in both his races, 25m & 50m free

Anthony 1st in 25m back & 3rd in 25m free

Ethan 1st in both his races, 25m back & free

John 1st in 50m free & 6th in 25m free

Marie 3rd in 50m free & 5th in 25m free

Anna 1st in 50m fly & 2nd in 25m free
