Young man viciously attacked in Letterkenny town park

Gardai are investigating a vicious assault on a young man in the town park in Letterkenny.

The young man was kicked and punched a number of times during the assault at around 5pm on Tuesday afternoon last.

The attack happened close to the outdoor gym area of the Bernard McGlinchey Town Park.

Gardai are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the attack to contact them.
