The site of one of Letterkenny’s best-known companies is to go under the hammer with a reserve of a cool €1.4M.

The site of the former Donegal Creameries plant at Ballyraine is expected to attract huge interest.

The 5.46 Acres site / 2.2 Hectares zoned opportunity site includes 6,300 Sq. Ft of retail space and 12,645 Sq.Ft of storage area.

The large site continues to house the creameries side of the business which was taken over a number of years ago by the Sligo-based Aurivo company.

The site is being sold at auction by local estate agents DNG Boyce Gallagher.

The brochure accompanying the site said it offers excellent road frontage, which could lend itself to a range of development opportunities, all subject to planning permission.

The site is located at the edge of a well established residential area and adjacent to ‘general employment’ land use and zoning.
