A Donegal man who appeared on RTE’s Winning Streak on behalf of his father scooped a cool €38,000.

Ballyshannon man Thomas Clyne stepped into the breach for his dad Tom on the popular show.

Thomas, who works in security, is well known around the Ballyshannon area and the community was glued to their televisions last night to see how Thomas got on.

A group of family and friends traveled with Thomas to Dublin to support him on the show.

Not a bad day’s work if you can get it!

Congrats to all concerned.
