Ann-Marie McGlynn finishes 16th in Barcelona

ANN-Marie McGlynn finished 16th in the Barcelona Half Marathon on Sunday.

The Letterkenny AC woman finished in 72 minutes and 12 seconds.

McGlynn’s 5k splits were 17:00, 16:47, 17:07 and 17:38.

Fionnuala McCormack, who will compete at the 2020 Olympic Games, finished 11th in 71:41.

The race winner was Ethiopian, Ashete Bekere, who clocked 1.06.36. 

The men’s winner was Kenyan, Viktor Chumo, who dipped under the magical one-hour mark. Chumo finished in 59.58.
