Motorists across the county have been warned to take extra care with the fall of a number of random snow showers.
The above picture shows a road in Creeslough just an hour ago after 9am following one such shower.
And according to Met Eireann there are more snow showers due across the country in the coming days.
Forecasters have said tonight will see “a few wintry showers of sleet or snow” – mostly over higher ground in parts of Ulster and Connacht.
