Listen: Mickey McCann says Donegal hurlers can be more ruthless

MICKEY McCann says his Donegal hurlers are capable of more after a ten-point triumph over Monaghan.

On a day when PJ McCarron netted for Donegal, who won 1-15 to 1-5 in Letterkenny, McCann says Donegal need to find a more clinical edge.

A third win in a row, though, keeps Donegal’s promotion bid right on track.

“Everything is up for grabs now,” McCann told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“We never looked in bother, but the only thing is we’re not taking enough chances.

“That has been there for the last few games, bar when we scored 2-23 against Tyrone. We are disappointed with that, but it’s all about getting the win and moving on.

“We have to learn to take more chances if we want to get over the line in bigger games.”
