Watch: All-Ireland Sevens glory for LyIT hurlers

LETTERKENNY Institute of Technology took a memorable victory in the Electric Ireland Higher Education GAA Corn Padraig Mac Diarmada Senior 7s Hurling Championship.

The LyIT men had a superb afternoon in Abbotsown where they claimed the silverware.

LyIT overcame Marino College and TU Blanchardstown in the group phase.

In the final, LyIT defeated DkIT 2-5 to 0-9. Nigel Flood from Tipperary bagged both the LyIT goals in the final.
