LYIT Donegal lost out to Division One leaders Tradehouse Central Ballincollig at An Danlann this afternoon.

The table toppers had too much in the arsenal down the home straight.

A game comeback by Niall McDermott’s side couldn’t go close enough to giving the Cork side a sweat.

Ballincollig, who had beaten LYIT Donegal in January’s Cup semi-final, showed their strength with a composed display.

Ballincollig were led by Andre Nation’s 37-point haul while Inigio Zabola (13) and Dylan Corkery (10) also impressed.

Dom Uhl was top-scorer for LYIT Donegal, scoring 26 points.

Manny Payton bagged 22 and Andrew McGeever helped himself to 14.
