Jason Black puts on the slippers after a week of hell!

Jason Black has been forced to quit his attempt to become an elite Irish Ranger after falling just short on RTE’s Special Forces: Ultimate Hell Week.

The Letterkenny man suffered a cracked rib during a boxing brawl on tonight’s show.

Black, who was known as number 21, did complete his latest challenge but he was outside the time.

In the end, he was asked for his armband despite his brave efforts.

Over the course of the three days on the show, Black was gassed, forced to drag tyres, sit in freezing seas, jump off bridges in the dark and much more.

And that’s even before he and his fellow contestants were humiliated at every turnabout.

Tonight he posted a picture of himself and his better half, Sharon, sitting at home with his slippers on.

But he’s not putting his feet up.

The endurance athlete is busy training for a cycle race across America.
