The Ballybofey, Stranorlar & District Historical Group are starting a new Genealogy group for the Finn Valley Area.
The new group will come together in the Meeting Rooms at the Glenside Business Park on the Glenfin Road, Ballybofey (beside Pro Fitness) on Thursday 5th March at 7pm.
Malcolm Houston will give a talk on the night about an introduction into genealogy.
It is hoped every meeting that the group will take a look at the different ways of discovering your family history through census, online records, Griffith’s Valuations and the different aspects of DNA.
There has been a good interest in this already so a big crowd is expected and everyone welcome.
