AN POST has said that there will be some delays in mail deliveries from this morning due to measures introduced during the coronavirus crisis.
An Post has introduced staggered working time for staff working at delivery offices in order to ensure effective social distancing.
The company says that it regretted any inconvenience, but stressed the need to take such a course of action.
Social distancing measures are also in place in all post offices and customers are being urged to follow the instructions that are on display.
It is advised that customers do not, where possible, bring children to post offices during this time.
