Covid-19: Five further deaths, 84 new cases confirmed in Northern Ireland

FIVE more patients who had contracted the Covid-19 virus have died in Northern Ireland.

Figures released by the Public Health Agency this afternoon have confirmed the five further deaths, with the death total in Northern Ireland rising to 78.

A further 84 new cases were confirmed as of 11.15am today.

There have now been 406 confirmed cases in NI with a total of 9,564 people having been tested.

Of the confirmed cases, 52 are in the Derry and Strabane area.
