Letterkenny man who allegedly spit at medical staff remanded

A Letterkenny man who allegedly spat at medical staff has been remanded in custody.

Patrick (Paddy) Boyle, of 13B Leck Cottages, Oldtown, was arrested yesterday following the incident.

It is alleged that he was involved in a spitting incident with a paramedic and medical staff at Letterkenny University Hospital.

He was charged with two counts of assault and also with causing damage to cells at Letterkenny Garda station.

He appeared briefly at Letterkenny District Court yesterday and was remanded in custody by Judge Paul Kelly.

His case was adjourned until next week.
