Investigation after mast goes on fire in Letterkenny

An investigation has been launched after a large communications mast went on fire in Letterkenny.

The mast, located at Dr McGinley Road, went on fire earlier this evening.

Both the Gardai and the local fire service have attended the scene.

It is believed the fire was mainly to the control box of the mast.
