Gardaí are appealing for information after a house was broken into in Cappry, Ballybofey.

It is believed that nothing was taken in the incident, which occurred overnight on Thursday 28th May.

Damage was caused to the back door and frame as entry was gained sometime between 00.50am and 3.10am (early hours of Thursday morning).

It appears that nothing was stolen from the house, gardaí have confirmed, while they remain keen to identify the suspect/suspects.

If anyone was in that area around that time and observed any people or cars, they are asked to contact gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100 or call the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.
