A company has applied to have a former Inishowen hotel demolished.
The Pollan Beach Hotel in Ballyliffin was a popular destination until it closed its doors in 2007.
Now plans have been lodged with Donegal County Council to have it bulldozed and replaced with a new business.
The new planning application involves the construction of a cafe and rental properties as well as car parking paces.
The application has been made in the name of Buncrana company Atlantic front Adventures.
A decision on the application is expected next month.
