The Rescue 118 helicopter has been stood down after a search in the Bunbeg area of West Donegal this afternoon.
The chopper was seen circling in the area for a time.
It follows reports that a young woman had gone missing in the area for several hours.
An appeal for the missing woman had been posted on social media.
However, the woman has been found safe and well a short time ago.
The Rescue 118 helicopter has now left the area.
