Investigation launched after caravan set alight in Letterkenny

AN investigation has been launched after a caravan in Letterkenny was set on fire at the weekend.

In the early hours of Sunday, June 14, Gardaí on patrol noticed smoke coming from a caravan at Canal Road, Letterkenny.

The fire services responded to a call from the Gardaí.

There was no-one in the caravans at the time of the incident, but one male who was nearby was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
