Three further deaths and 14 further cases of Covid

A total of three more people have died from Covid with a further 14 cases of the virus announced today.

The latest figures show a total of 1,709 deaths so far with a total of 25,334 cases.

The Department of Health also confirmed that there are now 24 people in intensive care while the number continues to drop.

A further six people with suspected cases are in ICU beds awaiting test results.

Meanwhile, the HSE has confirmed that there are 71 cases of people with Covid and a further suspected 170 cases in the country’s hospitals.

There is a total of 116 ICU beds available in these hospitals.
