There is relief after a missing woman was found safe and well.
The alarm was raised last night after the woman went missing in the Carrick area of south Donegal yesterday morning.
A description of her car was released as fears heightened over her safety.
People were asked to check piers and beaches.
Both Gardai and the other emergency services including the Rescue 118 helicopter were involved in the search.
However, the welcome news arrived this morning that the woman has been found safe and well.
