LETTERKENNY jockey Dylan Browne-McMonagle saddled his first winner of the season – a 20/1 shot – at Naas today.

Browne-McMonagle took an impressive win aboard on Joseph O’Brien’s Capel At Dawn in the 3.45 race, held over one mile.

Capal At Dawn is owned by a syndicate that includes Milford natives Donall Barrett and Owen Sweeney.

As the race entered the final furlong, Browne McMonagle and Capel At Dawn made the decisive move.

By the end, after surging away over the final 100 yards, Capel At Dawn, sent off at odds of 20/1, had three and a half lengths to spare on the 18/1 Cobb And Co.
