Pringle will not be voting for Martin and also snubs Sinn Fein

Donegal TD Thomas Pringle says he will not be supporting the vote for Micheál Martin as Taoiseach.

He is at the National Convention Centre in Dublin for the formation of the next Government and the election of a new Taoiseach.

The Independent TD from Killybegs says the programme for government lacks actions and vision, and lacks the change that citizens voted for.

“It is a government of inaction on the issues that affect our people most,” he says.

He says he will not be supporting Mary Lou McDonald either, adding that Sinn Féin has “rowed back on a lot of stuff”.
