OVER 500 customers in Donegal are without electricity this morning as high winds lash parts of the county.

Some 454 homes have been without power in the Moville area this morning.

The fault, reported at around 7.30am is estimated to be repaired by 11.30am.

In the Milford area, there are 121 customers affected by a power outage.

The ESB say they expect supply to be restored by 1pm.

The ESB have also confirmed that ten customers in Stranorlar have suffered an outage with a 12noon estimate on restoration.

A spokesperson said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
