Ramelton native Keith Cowan is celebrating success as Glentoran beat Ballymena United 2-1 after extra-time to lift the Irish Cup at Windsor Park.

Former Swilly Rovers defender and Finn Harps captain Cowan saw Robbie McDaid score the winner in the 115th minute from a Ciaran O’Connor cross in front of a crowd of 500 in Belfast. Paul O’Neill had opened the scoring for Glentoran as Cathair Friel levelled it up.
