THE DONEGAL Women’s League Executive has announced that this evening’s U16 Fixtures have been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Fixtures will be rescheduled for another date.
A statement from executive secretary Brid McGinty confirmed:
“As we await the FAI to issue the new guidelines and protocols we feel that it is putting undue pressure on the hosting club as to whom is classed as essential and are cars allowed in car park and also for travelling teams to have transport in place so they get teams to venues.
“The FAI are to issue their document this evening and this will give clarity for games to go ahead as Scheduled on Friday evening in the U14s league.
“As everyone will appreciate these are strange times for all concerned and if we keep doing our best we will overcome these challenges.”
