Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating an arson attack on a Letterkenny business overnight.
A number of cars and an adjoining office were damaged following the attack at Pearse Road around 1am.
Nobody was injured in the attack.
The emergency services attended the scene.
A full forensic examination into the arson attack is now underway.
A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Daily “Gardaí responded to an incident of criminal damage by fire this morning, at approximately 1am at a premises on the Pearse Road in Letterkenny.
“One of the offices connected to the premises caught fire during the incident, and surrounding vehicles were also damaged. Significant criminal damage was caused to the property. Investigation ongoing.”
