Irish Water has issued a list of works for Letterkenny and the surrounding areas for the coming weeks.

The vast majority of works will result in little disruption for the public.

They include upgrade works to the Joe Bonnar Road and also the N13 dual carriageway outside Letterkenny.

Attached and here is the latest update from Irish Water received by Letterkenny Chamber on Friday.

Details of upcoming sewer works:

Joe Bonnar Road

•Works are progressing to replace approximately 240 metres of sewer.

•It is not expected that these works will impact on traffic in Letterkenny

Details of upcoming water main works:

N13 Letterkenny (Between Veagh and N13/14 Manor roundabouts)

• Traffic management cones and signs will be in place in the N13
Letterkenny-bound hard shoulder between Veagh and N13/14 Manor roundabouts to facilitate road resurfacing works. The works will commence on the 24 August and be completed on the 18 September.

•Two-way traffic will be maintained as much as possible and always during the day. However, in some locations two-way traffic cannot be maintained and therefore, certain resurfacing works will be conducted at
night, outside of normal working hours.

•Local access to properties will be maintained at all times
